A truly wonderful dish that was originally for the hard working farmers to warm them during the working winter months using simple produce from their own farms. This dish has now become the regional dish of Asturias.
(Knuckle of pork, pork belly, chorizo sausage, black pudding, Spanish streaky bacon, flageolet beans, beef tomatoes, onions, garlic, sweet red paprika, fresh parsley, white wine)
This can be accompanied by the traditional boiled white cabbage.
